SIRAIKI-The Language of Harmony

Siraiki is the language of over 70 million people living in India and Indus Valley. It has produced immence literature. The language is not associated with any religion. It has evolved over the centuries amongst the people living on the banks of the Indus River and the plains of Multan. Siraiki has been the language of harmony and peace . It has been used by the Sufies, saints , sages,rishis, munnies , Pirs, Fakeers to spread their messages of peace and universal brotherhood. Patanjali Rishi , Achayara Pannani, Acharaya Chark , were speaking Siraiki. Shree Adi Granth Sahib adores Siraiki language. Guru Nanik , Baba Farid Shakarganj , Gulam Farid, Sultan Bahu, Bulleh Shah, Waris Shah, Shah Latif, Sacchal Sarmasst , Damodhar Gulati, Dharamdas have written immence mystic literature in Siraiki language. Grierson on Indian languages have devoted volume-8 on Lahnda or Western Punjabi which is now known as Siraiki .Other foreigners who wrote about Siraiki language are Mr.Beames, Mr.O.Brian, Dr.C.Shackle. In Pakistan, Dr.Mahar Abdul Haq was known as Babe-e-Siraiki. The most popular mystic literature is written in the form of ecstatic "KAFI" and "DOHRA".
